Included:

• 23 deaths
• 9 rapes, including group assaults
• Looting of Hindu homes, shops, and temples
• Thousands displaced or threatened

2022–23 Reports

• 154 Hindu murders
• 39 reported rapes (including 27 gang rapes)
• 400+ temples desecrated or attacked
• Systematic land grabbing, false arrests, and social boycotts

Population Decline

• From 22% in 1951 to less then 8% in 2024, Hindu population in Bangladesh is rapidly shrinking.
• Dhaka University research predicts: Hindus may disappear from Bangladesh by 2050 at current rates.
